Welcome to the online application for the U of L Residence.

New and Continuing Students Application


This page is for current or prospective resident students to apply for on-campus housing. All full time U of L students planning to attend the Lethbridge Campus are invited to apply. Living in Residence is an exciting part of your University experience. We strive to provide a safe and comfortable community to support your academic and social success.

In order to apply to Residence, you will require a U of L ID#. To receive your ID#, you must first have applied for admission to the U of L. Please note that you do not need to be admitted to the University before applying for residence.

To begin this application, login with your U of L username and password. If you do not have these, please follow this link to The Bridge where you can set up your account using your U of L 9-digit identification (ID) number that was given to you when you applied for admission. All emails from Housing Services will be sent to your uleth webmail account at (username and password are the same as above). Many items are time sensitive, so please check this account regularly.

You will be required to pay an application fee of $60 and an advance payment of $100 to complete your Residence application. Valid forms of payment include Visa and MasterCard. Please have your credit card ready.

All Students residing in our First year Residence areas, University Hall & the Apartments (Kainai & Piikani House), are automatically enrolled in the Dining Plan as part of the Single Student Housing License Agreement.

Information for Minors

Minors are students who are younger than 18 years old as of the first day of their Residence Contract. Minors are welcome to complete the online application process but will require a parental signature at the time of move-in.

  • All students who are not of the age of majority will be placed in an alcohol free area.
  • All students who are not of the age of majority will be required to have a parent or guardian sign the Residence Procedures for Minors Form when they accept their offer of accommodation.
  • All students who are not of the age of majority will be required to have a parent or guardian sign their Food Services Dining Plan Contract.
